Oh no sir. How bout I worked all night...they promptly put him outside at 6 am when I got home. Started barking and didn't stop for an hour and a half. I've never wanted to put a dog down until that moment.

Oh, a barking dog during the day will be hard to fight. Buy some cheap steaks and throw them over there when you get home. Make sure the steaks are frozen so it keeps him busy for awhile. If you decide to hide a couple tylenol pm's in there before you freeze them is your call.

They werent home at all today, so I left a note. If it continues, im gonna wake their ass up at 6am on a Sunday morning. I'm very passive, so its easy to not get heated. I like the neighbors so I want to keep it kosher.

Call animal control. Many municipalities have ordinances governing excessive barking. I think Cobb's is 10minutes without interruption and they'll act on it.

Without pissing off the neighbors. I'm pretty sure if animal control takes "fluffy" away for barking he can kiss any kind of reasonable interaction in the future good bye.

I would look at the bark limiters from Petsmart. They can plug into an exterior outlet, and all the owners will notice is that their dog no longer likes barking. It chirps everytime the dog barks in a tone that only they can hear. Win/win if you ask me, that is if you talk to them first and they still don't want to help you out.

Yeah I know he left the guy a note. That's step one, step two is going out of your way to talk to him face to face. Then if he doesn't do anything it's fair game, just in my eyes.

Like you said in the other thread, I don't jump straight to scorched earth, it's an incremented process. In my eyes, animal control would be scorched earth because they may take the animal away. Maybe make a complaint to the sherrif's office since they handle civil matters, and they can take a trip out to visit the owner and give them a warning anonymously.

I don't know what the coverage areas are, I looked at them for indoors and apartment use, my cross-hall neighbors have 3 dogs they leave out of crates all the time. They bark and bark at any feet coming up or going down the stairs. I can't even open my door without being barked at. I don't have a problem with the owners or the dogs, they're all nice, so until we leave in a little over a month-ish, I've just decided to deal with it.

I'm not sure it's loud enough to work across the neighborhood, the one's I'm considering installing it for in the new neighborhood share a fenceline with me, so they'll definitely hear it.

I was barking up the Seinfeld tree with that one, classic stand up Seinfeld, anyway. They only feed you for flights like that in First Class, which might as well be "I'm a better human than you lowly ones in Coach" Class with all of the other treatments they give you compared to the rest. Kind of like the old Titanic days of First Class vs. Steerage. I swear I've been on some flights so bad they've almost broken out the full Irish band to have a shindig like in the movie.
