But, seriously, I like Lenny's for breakfast. Its on the south end of 180 below the lake. Good eats there.
I heard Turner's Corner is closed. It wasn't great food, but the deck over the creek was nice. As long as you stuck with the basics the food was passable.
There are some sit-down restaurants near the outlet malls, but the locals don't take to kindly to old men in leathers on a Sunday morning. Maybe you'll get a nicer reception that I did. :D

Closed 2:00 p.m. that's early. I've been told by others about the rude counter service too...maybe they just had a bad day...

Wish I could say the same.
When Dale's was open he got my business due to friendliness and you could eat/get gas in one stop.
Been going to TWO for years and the people at the counter are just plain rude. No smile, no greeting, no thank you, no nothing. The food is good and the place is cool so I will continue to go to there, I just don't ever plan on chatting up any of the staff like at Dale's.
Put it this way.... At Dale's I felt welcome, at TWO I feel like my money is welcome.

it's called being slammed! you serve 1000's of rude nasty bikers every day and see how friendly you are! lol

Ya sure I suppose that's possible, but if I wanted the soup nazi treatment I'd go to Manhattan.
Dale's wasn't like that and got my business because of it (even though TWO's food was better.)
Now TWO will get my business by default.

If it's worth it to you to go the extra 10 minutes further north from 180 into Blairsville, there's Rib Country for BBQ and a fantastic sandwich place down at the end of the Bi-Lo shopping center called The Aviator Cafe. To get there, take the 9 o'clock spoke off the roundabout if you're headed into town from the south (6 o'clock spoke) and go straight until you see the shopping center on your left. Their prime rib sammich is worth the trip, and the people are nice.

Yonah Burger in Dahlonega is great. Yes it has a drive though but I think a Yonah burger is much better than one from TWO's. Cheaper too.

I don't mind hanging out at TWO but their counter service sucks! The food is okay...nothing to brag about. We'll have to check Yonah Burger out...thanks Michael.

Another great place to eat in Dahlonega is Robyn's Nest. It is located in the walmart shopping center and has great food REALLY cheap. I'm a NGCSU student so I get free drinks and can get lunch or dinner for two for less than $12. Traditional sandwiches and chicken but it is a great place to relax after a long ride. The cute sorority girls that work there are a plus too, but you didn't hear that from me. ;)

We'll check Robyn's Nest out and let you know about the sorority girls;)
