hands of stone. kid must be near a record for balls off his hands this year. just like college. makes the great catch and blows the easy ones.

and the falcons D is horrible. sure would have been nice to use some of those draft picks on the right side of the ball. uggggggg.

Truer words have never been spoken. They think 2 & 3 deep zones will stop everything.

Yeah our defense may as well just not even go out there. They look horrible. No pass rush against brees and the like will kill you.

Dont tell Falcon fans that. They think they are super bowl bound....Doesnt matter the road goes through GREEN BAY BOI...and for the draft this year, ALL OF THEIR picks need to go to the Defense....

A Rodgers said he likes playing the Falcons....He has record days

Julio is still going to be an impact player in the NFL. Even the greatest aka Jerry Rice had the dropsies his rookie year.

he could - he is a phenom athlete. but he dropped lots of passes in college too. and i mean the easy ones -- he generally makes the hard catch.

The Saints were just out there playing catch against the Falcons. The Falcons are much like UGA, build you up only to let you down.

I hope and pray we were just sandbagging last night because if we take that crap into the playoffs, we are toast.

Then again, when Roddy White came into the league his hands were no too good either.

THANK YOU!

Roddy was PATHETIC! and he has more dropped passes than Julio this year... sheesh, you wanna blame someone, blame the pathetic O-line and piss poor, overrated defense.

And Dean, I don't know what you're smoking, but Julio had very very few dropped passes in college.. Yes, he was injured a few times, but generally if the ball was thrown in his direction, it was his.

Only reason you are obsessed with him is because he is from Bama. if he wasn't, you'd think he was the greatest thing since Jerry Rice.

i don't care where he went to school. falcons paid too much for his injured, ball dropping arse. :D

How bout that ridiculous catch and shredding of defenders by JJ yesterday? No dropsies there! :D

Roddy is looking like his old self in lots of ways tho... I didn't get to see much of the game, but I swear everytime I looked up, balls were bouncing off Roddy's hands like a tennis court.

the bucks had their bags packed for vacation.

btw, the cocks looked good today. the old coach did a hell of a job this year. would have been very interesting to see what would have happened if
coach had sent garcia's dumb ass packing before the season.

We looked like shit in the first half. I was pissed until that Hail Mary. Made me think of the SEC Championship last year. Nice to be on the right end this time. Had we played like we did against Clemson it would have been a blowout. But I will take it, 11-2 is a damn good season. It will be tougher next year....we get LSU on our West schedule and keep Arkansas.

Garcia....that kid pissed away something good. He was probably feeling like the lowest piece of pond scum sitting on the couch watching.

I agree about the Falcons. I'm a Falcons fan, but I knew they didn't have it this year. They have the crew they need, but the play calling is terrible. Just like my Georgia Bulldogs.

The Falcons are way too one dimensional on offence. They got outscored by the Braves in their final game of the year. Nice going.

and Roddy White.....you are NOT a franchise receiver.

surely you are kidding, right? vg was great at georgia. and tha falcons were 12th in total D this year even with their pathetic offense and completely avoiding the defensive side of the ball in the draft.

ps -- julio still sucks. :D

With as many quality DE's and a decent secondary he had to work with, he is/was WAAAY overrated... But hey, whatever helps you sleep at night! Hope he's ya'lls answer that you're looking for!

Other than protection, the problem with Atlanta's offense is Michael Turner. I love the guy, had him as my fantasy back a few years, but I'll break it down....

He has too many runs that are negative yards or a marginal gain like 1-2 yards.

He can break some long runs, but he lacks breakaway speed and can be caught from behind.

There are exceptions but backs his style do not have long careers. There are BIG drop off's in production once they pass the downside of their career - get rid of him while he has value OR before you overspend to keep him.

And the number one issue: One dimensional. He's a below average reciever at best. The screen pass is not part of the game when he's on the field. If DB's stay home on play action, there's no dump off's. Team's don't have to defend the flat with him in the game at all. Bottom line - They have to have a feature back that has some hands where those pass plays are a threat.

I have two words for Dmitroff: Michael Bush. He's the same back as Michael Turner but with HANDS. He's not game breaker speedwise, but you add another dimension to your offense and he's got a lot more gas in the tank than turner. You can have him pretty cheap because he deserves / wants a chance to start somewhere.
