I have HID's along with projectors in my headlights.. The problem that I am having is that the HID's cut off after about 15 minutes of riding. I think that the way I connected the switch is somehow getting too hot and therefore automatically cutting off the power to feed to the HID's.

This is my set-up:
HID wire is cut before the power supply and a mini toggle switch (for ON/OFF option) was connected by using crimp-on connectors (male and female ends connected to wire and switch)

My theory is that the crimp-on connectors are unable to handle the heat surge for an extended amount of time and therefore cuts off. Before, I didn't use crimp-on connectors and just twisted the wires to the switch and it didn't have this problem (but it would flicker bc it was a lose connection). Any tips/suggestions?

it's very likely a power problem I've had issues with mine a few times tho it had to be rewired and not using Honda Oem seteup. Pm Lorne at Over Two customs..

Is it a ddmtuning unit? Call their tech support if it is.

Mine is ran with my stock wiring for on/off through a generic GM relay that has a hot wire through a fused hot wire from the battery.

Best $30 you can spend IMHO
($24 (HID) + $4 (CM relay) + $2 (fused wire)).

No I didn't go through DDM.. thinking I should have tho. I'm beginning to think it's my bulbs. I'll just troubleshoot it and see what other info I can gather. I hate electrical work.

ddm has some tech help on their website that you should be able to use even though it's not their brand. I love their lifetime warranty.

even the guy that has a bike w/o headlights knows this - is it a sign of the 2012 Apolpolypse?
