Have you all seen this one, http://atlanta.craigslist.org/sat/mcy/3035006605.html? I do see some differences from the picture you posted, but it's the same year and the tank is dented.

Mod hat on:

Posts in this section should provide material assistance in recovering the stolen motorcycle such as "for sale" ads spotted or actual personal knowledge relating to where the bike might be found. We're all sorry to hear that a bike was stolen. Chatter about the likelihood of a bike being stolen from any particular place and the pro's and con's of different storage options are pointless. Everybody knows all that and makes their decision about where and how to store their bike based on their particular situation. If you don't have anything specifically helpful to offer, keep it to yourself of go start a thread in the open forum or the motorcycles forum.

I forgot to ask when they called me. I havnt got the report yet but I'm going to call the detective tomorrow to find out. Curious to know if it was someone from my complex.

Glad you got it back. Did the bike get dropped, or is it just the way it was painted?

My question is he in jail for theft???

If so I would personally take him to small claims and get reimbursement for damages. It's not about the money it's about making one pay for their mistakes. As long as he is in jail he has to work it off, and when he gets out he still has to pay or gets sent back to prison.

To make a point it will only cost around 80 bucks to get it rolling, you don't need a lawyer and can do it all by yourself.

I dont know if he's still in jail but I know he was arrested for "Theft by receiving stolen vehicle". Looks like he already had a warrant too. I'm gonna look into that, if its not too time consuming I might do it. Thanks
