We're in. Dickiedoo (Ryan) also has tickets as does Jdread (James). We need to set up a nice tailgating session, I believe.

Definitely.

You have any preferences on parking? Last year we did the paved parking instead of the gravel. REALLY preferred that. Depending on a head count, we're thinking about ordering some "Buffett wear" for everyone from Oriental Trading Company and to do some decorating. If everyone is interested, we'll see what we can pull together.

What are the going cost of tickets for a Buffett concert now? It's been going up in the last few years.

Paved would be better. The wife and I don't drink so if you need Designated's we can be there for you. Last time we went in 2006 we took Marta which was OK to get there but a CF leaving. May drive down, but would prefer to carpool with someone and are more than willing to chip in for gas and the like.

Where do you live? We may be able to work something out. We'll have the Avalanche and be leaving from Snellville. We actually didn't drink much at the last concert and for once remembered the whole show. It was kinda a refreshing change. If you're nearby we can probably work something out on a ride. We'll probably be intending on heading out there sometime between noon and two in the afternoon.

Reserved is through the roof but actually heard that has more to do with Ticketmaster than Buffett, as he's threatened to boycott a couple of times and pretty sure he didn't come to Atlanta one year as a result. We paid $36 before fees each for lawn seating, been that range for awhile now. I actually prefer lawn because th e damn smoking kills me under the shed. Ya, you risk the weather, but that's half the fun of the concert.

I will be there, we are leaving Monroe at 12 and will meet you down there. I took a half day off at work and the next day off to recover. I have a friend going that owns a very large amusement company and she is bringing some kick ass margarita machines!

James, you're not talking about McNair Amusements, are you?

Pam and Owen own the company and know how to make Margarita's.

I know the McNair's but not them.

Live in Athens, work in Dunwoody. I'll probably be taking a day or two off specifically for the show so it's all good. Marta was a CF last time so I am willing to work around someone else's schedule. I can load up the Weber and bring it along (assuming grilling is not banned), probably make a Bacon Explosion or two ahead of time as well.

Yeah, we got reserved this year. The last time we went was 2006 and it rained up until 30 minutes before the show.

Cool, if you want to come out towards my house, you're more than welcome to ride with us. We were there for the rain show, also. Believe it or not, once you got used to it, really wasn't that bad. Watching everyone mud sliding down the hill was hilarious! Also donated my shirt to one poor girl who's boyfriend thought it would be smart for her to wear a thin white blouse with no bra. Imagine that with the rain. She was highly thankful. See, I can be a gentleman when I want to be.

I will confirm with the wife but this sounds like a plan. And of course we'll be happy to chip in for Gas and Parking.

Yeah, we had a blast at that show until we got on the MARTA bus with the AC running full blast, soaking wet.

Sweet, a GSB parrothead party! My wife and I along with 6 other people are rolling down. We usually tailgate with my father in law. They roll hard with a diesel pusher, marg machines, generators, and insanity. We're all over the place though. I thought about loading up the covered trailer with sand, generators, tents, kiddy pool, coolers and tons of rum. Looks like we;re the only ones on the west side, but if anyone wants to ride down and back let me know.

I have some friends and family that are going. They paid somewhere in the vicinity of $160.00 a ticket.

I wouldn't pay over $30.00 for this show. I think they are completely out of their minds. I've been 4 times. It's definitely not worth $160.00.

I had some really good seats last year but this year I will be buming it in the lawn with the rest of the bums.

Yeah, I don't go that high on the tickets. The $36 for the lawn works just fine for me. I actually enjoy the lawn more. Everytime we tried reserved, we ended up going back outside because the smoke just hovers under the roof.

We'll have to see. My wife is really susceptible to the smoke, so we may end up out on the lawn.

That's the reason we always shifted. I've gotten semi-allergic to cigarette smoke and couldn't stand it. At least on the lawn the worst you've got is the periodic wafting of pot as it blows past.

But you can smell the funny smoke when you sit on the lawn. :)

Was out of town when tickets went on sale so much to my dismay, we missed out. So......please keep an eye (or ear) out for lawn tickets. Wont go way over face value, but a little is acceptable.

I'll watch and see if any pop up. I'll let you know if we see anything.
