You have to shop around. Everyone has different prices at different times. Avoid dealerships.

We offer some seriously low prices on Michelins and Pirelli's almost every month. Right now Cycle Gear has a special on Roadsmarts as well that is pretty slick.
We also offer about the lowest price for mount and balance in the Atlanta area. I havent shopped it around too much but havent heard of a better deal yet.

What kind of tires are you looking for?

Yup we have Dunlop Roadsmarts and Q2's on sale. If you can't take your wheel off OTC is literally right up the street and we can either run the tires over for you or Lorne will pick them up.
RoadSmarts 120 + 180 = $219.99 $120 + 190 = $229.99
Q2 120/70-17 Front & 180/55-17 Rear $249.99
120/70-17 Front & 190/50-17 Rear $269.99

MarMo and Huey are great but kinda pricey on the tire changes.

I hear you, but 40 bux is 40 bux...I'd drive accross town to save that much and I bet a lot of other people would too.

Thats good that you are in that position. I mean $40 aint gonna kill me but If I can save the money and use it to get my suspension set up... at MarMo. Then I'd rather do that.

If you can pull the wheels yourself, and need to get mounted in Mtta, go see Matt at Rapid Rotation at Lower Roswell and Upper Roswell (about 300 yds E of the Big Chicken.)
$10, and he'll usually do it while you wait. If its busy, you might have to come back in an hour or two. But, they wont be able to help you if you need anything other than that.
MarMo does good work, plus they can put an experienced eye on your bike and let you know about stuff before it goes Tango Uniform. Good people.

Well that will be OTC for sure. I rode 40 miles, Covington/Lawrenceville, and had the best prices. Customer service was top notch.

Buy my rubber from Nikk or MarMo and mount and balance them myself. Cheap as it gets.

How much was your machine to mount them... or do you use tire irons?

Mounting the tires is the easy part. Breaking the bead is the bitch. For years we just ran over them with a truck and pulled the rubber with screw drivers.
Care not the surface of the wheel for it will be scratched to shit.

100.00 used from Marie and G on here. Works great. Then I bought a HF balancer and some 1/4 and 1/2oz weights. All in all I have about 150 in the whole set up, and it takes a bit if extra time but I do it in my garage and whenever I want. I've more than paid for it 5x over just in the last 6 months.

Yea when you race or do alot of TDs it makes sense to get your own changer. Ryan do you know what brand changer that is?

Not the cheapest but its what we use at the shop. Most people on here can attest that I can rip a tire off and remount with the quickness.

Me and three of my friends went in together to buy a changer last year and it's great. We bought the NoMar changer.

No Mar and Cycle hill are the same company. The cycle hill changer has the bead breaker on the bottom.
And yes, you can change tires by yourself with ease.

Well the idea was that I was gonna pick up a rear tire (michelin pilot power) from Cycle Gear and a new chain since mine has surface rust and thought it be a good time to change both at the same time. And since Cycle Gear only mounts tires with the wheel off and i have no way of doing that without a rear stand. So just figuring out my best route and hoe much it would all cost. Me buying tire, chain, and stand then removing wheel versus having a shop remove and install everything.

I havent ever priced you guys becasue there is a small shop here in winder that does them cheap. I paid $20 for a rear on the bike. His tire prices are supposed to be pretty competitive too but Ive not priced street tires with him. Badgers Hollow in Winder
