I just spoke with a couple of guys who have either taken their bike for updates and/or awaiting updates? When I asked what this was, none of the guys could give me a detailed reason for the update.

My question: How do I know if I need an update? How should I contact? Why would I need an update?

Can someone explain/elaborate on this for me? I have a 94 Honda CBR 600 RR. 11,700 miles. Recently had my 12,000 service completed.

Thanks

That is what I am trying to figure out. Does it relate to service? Performance? Upgrades? Malfunctions? I don't know.

Maybe they ment "Recalls" but with a 94 motorcycle I dont think there are any updates on that thing.

Yea maybe recalls.

Demric are you sure you have a 94 RR? Because as far as I know the 600RR didn't come out until 2003. The 94 was the year of the CBR F2

Lazarus. You know what? As far as I know its a 2004. The service papers and title indicate its a 2004. I will check the vin against the decal information. Is there another way I can validate the actual year.

Oh ok. If the title says its a 04 than its an 04 but you wrote 94 in your first post. Maybe it was just a typo?

There could be a recall on an '04. You can check here (http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/recalls/recallsearch.cfm).
