What a great weekend for riding!! Started out top of 400 headed to Clayton by way of Helen and Macedonia. Took Warwoman, that was fun!! The last 3 miles will eat your lunch if you're not ready. Took 28 as far as US 19, not a strait stretch in site and speed limit is 55 and full of twisties. Met up with some other riders and had fun!! We came through Blood Mt. around 6:00 and it was a ghost town. It was great because we had the roads to ourselves. We only saw one Leo the entire day!! I got in 500 miles:jam2: Thanks Dzone for the map:)

Sounds like a great day with great weather. Props for doing 500 miles! I've done that many miles a handful of times and it kicks my butt.
Tons of LEO's up there yesterday. Counted at least 4 gsp's in about 2 miles.

Yep...I'm completely worn out but it was worth it. I had so much FUN!!! Met a rider that mentioned the "Devil's Triangle" does anyone know about this road??

The actual "Triangle" consists of TN 62 and TN 330 on the south with Oliver Springs at the intersection, and TN 116 on the north part of the loop. The total distance for the Triangle itself is 45 miles.
TAIL OF THE DRAGON AT DEALS GAP (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/dragon.html), with 318 curves in 11 miles, is America's number one motorcycle and sports car road. The nearby CHEROHALA SKYWAY (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/cherohala.html) is quickly becoming number two with its remote 60 miles of scenic mountain highway. The area also has other incredible roads like the DEVILS TRIANGLE (http://tailofthedragon.com/DevilsTriangle/DevilsTriangle.html), THE SNAKE (http://tailofthedragon.com/ShadyValley/ShadyValley.html), BLOOD MOUNTAIN (http://tailofthedragon.com/GA_Trip/trip.html), MOONSHINER 28 (http://www.moonshiner28.com/) and some GREAT DUAL SPORT RIDING (http://tailofthedragon.com/dualsport.html).

Its not my fault Todd made one smiley "nono" and the other "NONO" and the forum software reverts the NONO to nono.

I"m so excited! This past weekend I put over 10,000 miles on my bike:rocker: I got my bike Nov of 08 but didn't really get to ride until Jan 09. I'm planning on adding much more by the end of the year!!!
Some one needs to put together a coed ride...now that would be fun.
