Qualifications: - BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or related experience
- 8+ years of experience in Internet Technology
- 5+ years of recent, production experience with application support on Linux/Unix and Windows platforms
- Knowledge of supporting enterprise applications in an internet environment
- Expert level Unix, Linux, or Windows background
- KSH, PERL, Java, or other scripting languages
- Experience with production support for enterprise level applications (working with ticketing systems, customers, change control systems, quality control, etc.
- CVS experience
- Familiar with risk and issue management elements, including: Intrusion Detection, VPN, Secure Shell, Networking, Network Infrastructure, Remedy Trouble Ticketing, Security Software, Cisco, NOC, and Networking
- Experience configuring and supporting large enterprise, high availability systems
- Strong technical knowledge of the complete inter-workings between hardware, applications, networking, and users;
- Experience with applications in environment, definitely a plus, including: DART Enterprise ad serving software, eMeta RightAccess and RightCommerce; ClearCommerce fraud detection. Paymentech for payment processing to banks/reconciliation

Duties: The Senior Applications Systems Engineer will be part of the Internet Operations' team that supports and maintains web services and broadcast architectures with specific attention to availability, performance, capacity planning and implementation. This position will assist and sometimes lead the development and maintaining of operational control and management systems to support operations, including: alarms, alerts, documentation and triage; infrastructure, content change control, and load management. The Sr. App Systems Engineer will support daily operations of all the systems used to deliver content, which may include web, video, email, application, and eCommerce servers. The Sr. App Systems Engineer will lead enterprise-scale technical projects, work with technology, business staff, and vendors to gather requirements, determine and implement solutions.ystems Engineer will be part of the Internet Operations' team that supports and maintains web services and broadcast architectures with specific attention to availability, performance, capacity planning and implementation.

How about 11 years of internet surfing?

- 5+ years of recent, production experience with application support on Linux/Unix and Windows platforms
How about 5+ years of recent, production experience?

- Knowledge of supporting enterprise applications in an internet environment
Knowledge of supporting prono habit in an internet environment

- Expert level Unix, Linux, or Windows background
Yes.

- KSH, PERL, Java, or other scripting languages
I know cursive. Does that count?

- Experience with production support for enterprise level applications (working with ticketing systems, customers, change control systems, quality control, etc.
Can you repeat the question?

- CVS experience
I go there all the time to fill my prescription so YES!

- Familiar with risk and issue management elements, including: Intrusion Detection, VPN, Secure Shell, Networking, Network Infrastructure, Remedy Trouble Ticketing, Security Software, Cisco, NOC, and Networking
I know that I take a risk of getting a virus when I surf for nekkid pics. Is that good enough?

- Experience configuring and supporting large enterprise, high availability systems
No.

Yes.

How strict are they on the experience? I basically do all that stuff now for a big company...but I just graduated from Auburn in 2007. Let me know.

They are not that strict. Honestly, those requirements are the "perfect" person, which rarely exists. I say put in your resume, whats the worst that can happen :)
