Seat Cushion or Impact Shorts?

I was wondering if anyone on here has ever used one of the aftermarket seat cushions they sell for motorcycles? Any feedback on them? I know they are mainly used on cruisers but has anyone tried them on sportbikes? I am looking for a few ways to make my seat more comfy. The obvious route would be a new Sergant seat but that is not an option.

Has anyone ever used those padded shorts like Skeletools Impact Shorts?

pretty much any time I go for a ride that's more than an hour I wear bicycle riding shorts under my leathers or textile riding gear. I wear Pearl Izumi stuff which isn't cheap but it's the best out there. I used to race mtb's and can't see how you can ride all day without them.

there's a PI outlet store up 400 just south of the Dawsonville outlets. great place to get a deal on bicycle shorts. or check REI. many 400-1000 mile days on sport bikes with bicycle shorts on. :)
