Not quite as epic as the NOS energy drink guy, but it rates an honorable mention.

What's going on all. First post. Here is something I wanted to share.
I bought a new se zx6r and its got a power button that i found. I push the button and go from "m" mode to "k" mode according to what the digital readout says. When i go to "k" mode i can go quicker and faster. The saleman didn't even tell me i had this on the bike. Top speed in "m" mode is 148 and in "k" mode i actually got up to 238, plus my gas mileage improved going from around 30 to 48 per gallon

LOL LMAO That was a good one. But yeah, has to be a joke. Atleast, lets all hope it was.
LOL that is funny as hell. No I can totally see someone doing that. If my friend led me on to believe my bike had that I wouldve took him at it for his word. Well, maybe not, but I can see someone telling this guy that for the sh!ts and kicks.

Pretty much sums that thread up.

My favorite noob thread ever was the guy that thought his new helmet had a heads-up display, but he couldn't figure out why it was upside down and didn't work when the visor was all the way down.
I can't remember how many pages it took before he figured out it was just a reflection of his dash in his visor.

I like the one about the guy that put the NOS energy drink in his gas tank myself.
Anyone got a link to the NoS Energy Drink? I am curious now.

Was obviously a joke, but still funny how it went viral.

What about the dude who drilled several holes in his ECU with his "mechanic" friend, while they were mounting a "custom undertail" (2 L brackets from Home Depot). Then they couldn't figure out why the bike wouldn't start.

I remember reading that ECU one. That one was EPIC!
LOL Hot damn, lesson is, hit the forums first before modding your bike. Gotcha, and check.

I remember the ECU one, that one is great because it actually happened. Poor guys, haha.

I think that one was the best. It even topped the Marsolais thread about his shift indicator light we had a few years back.
