View Full Version : Red Fiberglass Camper Shell Off '01 Tacoma XTra Cab

My soon to be 16yo son is buying my Tacoma and the camper shell apparently isn't cool, so I'm selling it . It was on the truck when I bought it last summer. I'm unsure of the make or age, but it matches the red truck perfectly. I replaced all 6 struts over the winter, I have the key to the locks, and it's a front slide window. It comes with the mounting brackets. The paint it fading/peeling on top, and there are some scratches to the passenger side rear. Other than that, it's in pretty good shape. I'll post the pictures tomorrow morning. I'm located between Athens & Augusta.

$400 and listening to offers. I'd love to trade for a topper for an '06 Silverado 6.5' bed, but I know it's a longshot.

explain to him how you can fit sleeping bags back there, or even a twin mattress... he'll think it's cool again.

As soon as I start talking to him, his ears and brain shut down.

I could go the reverse psychology route and tell him how horrible the topper is, thus guaranteeing he keeps it forever!
