After letting go of the WR, started to look for a new bike to replace it. I had it narrowed it down to 2, KLX250s & WR250R. After riding both and looking at some $$, pulled the trigger on an almost new 09 KLX250s. Bike has only 1300, this is the closest I'm going to get on buying a brand new bike.

Congrats! Bike looks brand spanking new.

A dirt bike was the first motorcycle I ever rode. I remember the then-new owner telling me that I needed to give it plenty of gas to avoid it stalling out. I took his advice and managed to inadvertently wheelie it in a car park at a dirt track with about 100 onlookers. Took me a split second to realize what was going on - believe I may have been dragging behind the bike for a bit before I let go of the handlebars. Not cool, but highly amusing to everyone including myself. That was also a 250cc - really enjoyed that torque!

Congrats Eddie. That bike sure is clean. I'm sure you can talk to Sanches or Rocker and find out the common upgrades to do to those bikes to open them up a bit if you want to. I think going down 1 on the front sprocket is pretty common too.

It's got les power for sure. It feels very light even in stock trim.

I knew it would have less power, but how does it work in real life?

Yes, right there where the cops parks. Pain in the ass when you are trying to get out, can't see traffic coming

IS THAT YOUR MUSTANG?
