Hello Fellow Motorcycle Fanatics,

We have a few spots left for the Yamaha Champions Riding School scheduled for May 7th and 8th, 2010 at Carolina Motorsports Park. We’ve added a few new venues to our schedule this year.

I know, it’s rather late notice, but we’d love to show you what we’ve been up to since establishing the school that calls Miller Motorsports Park its home, in Utah.

Nick Ienatsch heads the very talented group of instructors riding the latest and greatest supplied from Yamaha. Please take a look at what is being written about the school associated with the links below:

The cost for the two day school is $2,295. You are encouraged to bring your own bike, or we can arrange for you to use one of our Yamaha’s with enough advanced notice.

If you’d like to refresh some of those incredible skills you’ve already discovered, or improve upon your current abilities, please let me know ASAP and I’ll get you enrolled for the Yamaha Champions Riding School at Carolina Motorsports Park on the 7th and 8th of May.

Keep the rubber side down!

Regards,

Dwight Allen

I read Todd's response before reading the thread but I see that Nick I. is with you guys. I'm a big fan of him and his methods.

Thanks Lazarus! I don't know anyone who's been through the school that doesn't feel like they've gotten more than their money's worth.

I dont know how your school compares to say Ed Bargy but if I had the expendable cash I'd go there to learn from Nick. I have read his book Sport Riding Techniques from cover to cover like 257 times.

I got to ride with Nick at Barber last year at the STT Buell Demo weekend... It was great... However I have to say in these times it will be hard to get that much out of a average person that wants to do a school... I would at least want Yamaha to provide the bikes like the Schwantz School....

I definietly want to go there.... If it werent 1900 Miles from my house I would have already been.. I was planniung a trip back in 2007 but the Gas Prices were way too much for the drive... I hear fantastic things about the facility there...

Im curiious, what cost so much to charge the prices at these schools? I have just signed up for my first track day, but even Kevin Schwantz! is $1800 and Bardy is like $400 for a day. I'm not trying to start an argument, but I thought people would rather make a little off a lot, rather than alot off of a little and you could keep busy, so I am just curious how and what is the reasoning behind such cost

Knowledge and time.... Both spent in depth on the track and in the classroom. Also usualy the high end schools Code, Schwants ect will have 10 or so people and have the track to themselves all day...

Todd how many students are in each class at the Bargy school?

this past year, we've had less than 6 at almost all of them. A few, we only had 2 or 3.

Why?

Just wondering. I plan on taking it later this year after some track days. Plan on doing 1-2 tally days and a day at barber. Will try to sign up in the fall.
