After long deliberation and thoughts/prayer/advice from you guys I have settled on a new bike. I chose the 2001 CBR F4i. It came down to an 06 FZ6 and this. And this edged it out by a small margin. So far I like it. I was a little hesisitant of the power at first, but after a couple of hours I felt alright. The only gripe I have is the seat is hard as a rock. Sitting on the Kat was like sitting on a La-z-boy, this is like sitting on a barstool...Other than that its great. Here are some pics.
:jam2:
congrats on the new ride man. looks good

Nice bike. I like my Honda and heard nothing but good about the F4i.
Yea banana seats are way more comfortable but the handling will make you forget about your arse.

Never will I hate on the Katana...It was a good starter bike. But to compare...this is like going from a Buick LeSabre to a Ford Mustang GT. Well, maybe not that extreme, but you get my drift.
Very funny Laz...I knew everyone was secretly laughing at me, but ask me if I cared. lol

I meant mainly in the weight, handling, flickability dept. I had an 01 Katana 750 myself and they're great bikes. No disrespect, most of the people that rag on them have no idea what they're talking about. Plus, I prolly passed a few of them in the mtns. on mine.:)

Congrats man, nice choice. And yeah, Honda seats are notoriously board-like.
