I'm looking to buy a 5x8 trailer, wood floor, 4' gate, and have shopped around some. Best I could find was $750 at a place in Fayetteville.
Does anyone know of a trailer store with better deals and/or a little closer to Norcross?
Thanks in advance.

You'd be surprised Marc. The type that I am looking for that I've seen on craigslist are not much cheaper than brand new. The cheaper ones(@400 bucks) either don't have a ramp and/or a wood floor or look like they've been dropped off of a crane into the mud.
Thanks for the offer of using yours though bud.

Thinking about getting a trailer too but will probably go that harbor freight route although I would like a ramp.

Yeah, loading the bike in and out of my truck and then stuffing everything for the track around it is getting a little old. Doable, but old.. Plus, it will be handy for moving big stuff if need be.

I dont know how people do it, but I'd probably drop the bike off the side loading it in the back of a pickup. I only have an suv though so most practical thing is trailer. I'm trying to do TDs on a budget so I dont tick the wife off at at about $300 for a new trailer (HF) seems like the best bet. Thats one point I made to my wife is that if we ever need to move something I dont have to worry about borrowing someones truck.

Let me know what you get, I'm also in the market.
A side question: Where is a good place to get a hitch installed on an odyssey van?

I dont know about out in Cumming but theres a place in Decatur, Hitch House I think, that I would go to. I'm actually considering either getting a U-Haul one or getting one but installing it myself.

Check out some Pawn Shops. There was one at a Pawn Shop in LaGrange a few weeks back, it was in great shape, I figured from what they were asking, $400 cash would have taken it, but I waited to long, and I'm comfortable with my current set up in the back of the truck for now. Some Lowes are selling utility trailers as well now.

There was a trailer on BSB for half that. I sent him a PM for ya to see if it was still for sale.
Oh, when I bought my trailer I got it off HWY 20 between 20 and 9 on the right (closer to 9) - GREAT PRICE.

Derrick,
Joe pm'd me, and sorry, but I sold just the trailer that you describe over a month ago for $400.
I'll keep a look out for a similar deal for ya though. ;)

Thanks for looking out guys, but I went ahead and bit the bullet on a new one earlier today. Got it from A&A trailer in Jonesboro for 825..retail was 990. 5x8 with wood floor, 4' gate, 3500lb axle, v nose, 15 inch wheels. Defnitely a higher up in the model line compared to the ones at Lowes or whatever. I should get many years of use out of it.

Of course but it'd be hard to ride it while it's on the trailer.:D
