May1 (Sat ride) Kennesaw State (KSU)

Called a few people and trying to see if there is any interest in riding to Helen Tomorrow ? Planning on leaving from the Shell station across from Kennesaw State around 11am . I know there is some chance of rain and if the weature is bad like last weekend it's cancelled. Otherwise if the temp's are nice I'm riding up there.

I rode up there today. It was nice. On 180(wolf pen gap) just be careful on it. They are scraping some of the dirt away from sides of mountain on that road. There are also a few rocks floating around on that road. That's the only road my rear end danced around on some. It's wasn't heart sinking feeling when it did but u should be fine.

Yea I noticed that a few weeks ago and leaves and pinestraw didn't help much either. Thanks for the tip's.

So we got back and dam My back is all messed up (LOL). I Usually travel to Helen on 575 but for some odd reason we went back home using 985 to 85 to 285 back to 75 back to 41. Overall decent ride but rain spoiled most of my plan's. Helen has some pretty decent area's to eat I need to hit some other places to ride into. Thanks Thomas on being the guide back and hopefully next week is better. Sorry didn't take any pictures it was rather wet .

NP!!! My old stomping ground was fun to ride through! Even if it was at 70mph on the highway! Had fun man! Looking forward to another ride! Hope more people come!

I didn't see this tread till it was to late but I'm down for next time I want to ride the mtns but haven't been yet and ksu is much closer for me then the end of 400 where people usually meet

Aiming on doing this next sat again hopefully full sun this time. I know there are a lot of us out here so why I picked Ksu plus it's a way easy to get to 575 ramps.
