How are they? I was thinking about getting a pair and letting MarMo put them on when I get my throttle adjusted. If not, what else can you recommend?

Renthal....
Cut your old ones off and put the new ones on with a Air hose.... Very simple job...

Renthal's huh? You're the second person to recommend them. Ive also heard to use hairspray when putting them on. What does the air hose do? I dont have one of those readily availble in my apt compled. lol. Since I had to get my throttle adjusted, I was gonna let the shop do it. Maybe I'll end up doing it.

As soon as I cut off my stock grips and put on Progrips I could feel much more vibration and my hands went numb pretty quick. I don't like the one's I have. I think these are the same that I have, 732.....

Yes only use air to put them on... No Hair spray, Gorilla Snot or Soap needed... Air is the best.. They stay put and the Air makes them easy to pull on or off...

So go for the 780's then?if you can, go to a shop and try a couple, if not, at least get something with ribs/knubs/ridges whatever you wanna call it, and a material that promotes softness with tackyness/adhesion. those replica grips are smooth when new, and only get smoother over time. i have tried them and speak from experience. i use the 780's on my track bike and they are great. the renthals are good too and a lot of races/track riders use them too.
