im in agreement here. not a fan of the droid site, but def. interested to see what other color combinations are available.

When i used to frequent the R6 board, theirs was damn near black it was so dark. I hated it. I was glad they had the option for a much lighter skin.

I've volunteered countless times to help out so :PThis is actually the FIRST time we've had to do this due to a bad back up. In 2007 when we had to do this, it had zero to do with a bad back up. The server we were on was basically "stolen". At that time, we were doing the good ol boy thing of a member here volunteering his server/services to host GSB. When said member had a falling out with the person that owned the building the server was in, and then the owner locked him out and essentially said "tuff shit, youre not getting your shit back", we had no choice but to start over. Had it not been for that, the "crash of 2010" would have been at least 6 years since the last time we had to do this. So, the whole "volunteer" method of having a member "help out" doesnt always work. Shit happens, and this was one of those times. We're paying for hosting now so we dont have that problem. GSB has pretty much been running flawlessly for the last 3+ years. Highside made a simple mistake that caused this, yet, according to many of you at BSB, we're a bunch of dumbasses that dont know what we're doing. Just goes to show, apparently the biggest bashers of this place have no effing clue of the reason WHY we've had to do the whole re-register thing 3 times now in 10 years.

I never said anyone was a dumbass. I have only been a member since 2007 or there abouts and this is the second time I've had to re-register for whatever stated reasons. I'm not blaming highside nor you, but backups is suppose to be a habit done regularly, not just when doing uogrades. And in all cases you mention would have eased the transitions, time, and effort involved and thus the meaning to my comments here, on BSB, and mentioned to anyone I may have spoken to about the subject in person. I'm sorry if it hurts yours or anyone elses feelings, but its the simple truth that it all could have been avoided or at the least just a week of data lost.

The good ol boy situation I fully understand too as I've dealt with that b4 too and you are better off paying as you are doing now ;) and was not what I meant by my volunteering ;)
