View Full Version : Bikelanta 2010 at Mountain Motorsports In Conyers, GA
Its that time of year again. Bikelanta will be at Mountain Motorsports in Conyers, Sat. and Sun., May 22 & 23.
Ed Bargy will have a booth set up there and will be giving away a free one day trackschool, lots of other vendors too, a $5000 Hootersl bikini contest, the dealer will be giving away a brand new Spyder, LOTS of stuff going on. Last year there was a huge turnout, and i expect this year to be even bigger and better. There is even gonna be a stunt show for all you guys into that sorta thing. ;)

Yes. Last year the bike was still being worked on and I missed it, however this year...OH RATS. This year I will be in the Bahamas on a cruise with my wife. LOL, forgot about the cruise., oh well.

I went last year. I left towards the end of the bikini contest (rain). It was a cool event though. If the weather holds up, I'll definitely go back.

I remember not long after I moved down here and joined the board and everything I had some questions regarding track days and such and Todd took alot of time PMing me and then was like just call me and I did and we talked for a bit, he was explaining everything and this and that I was like wow, only knew him for like a couple weeks online so yeah Todd is a cool dude and if I could I would definitely offer my support to him and the Bargy school.

Nope, the only school we got in May is down at Jennings, on the 15th.

I know but where do you think I got my dates from? :lol: Maybe I was looking at last years? I dont know but for some reason I entered in the month of May 22 and 23rd. I dont think theres any school dates for the 22nd or 23rd for any month.

First, these are real stunters, not guys doing stoppies in a crowded parking lot. My complaint with the stunting was pretty much limited to that Hooters bike night, because they do not have the room for it, and the stunting is mediocre at best. I know that they are nice guys and members here, but I was just never impressed. I can only watch a burnout or a wheelie for so long, and when it inconveneinces me by taking up the entire parking lot, and puts other people's bike at risk as a result, then I don't like it.
Judging from the pics, these are real stunts, with big jumps and things, and they have the room to do it, so it's cool.
I am meeting someone at the QT at Route 316 and 20 in Lawrenceville at 12:30 and then heading down. Look me up when you get there!

Hey did you get hit from the wood peices On i-20? I know Alex missed it but pointed out to the airborn flying peices and I looked back at you but wasn't sure you got hit. Im glad i have my full gear and you guys gave me a hard time on that LOL but hell in this case it was just a tap. Glad to meet you as well everybody seemed like a freindly group.

Was a great ride today a little warm but for the most part real good. We will have to hit it up again soon. Still to hot for me and full leathers though, but to each their own.

I went with my gf, thankfully we took her car. on 285 the temp sensor hit 100. a guy on a blue zx14 crashed right next to us. we pulled over and did what we could. gave him water to wash out his rash. i moved the bike out of the road for him while tryin not to bust my ass cause all the fluids it spilt onto the road. i think all the oil leaked out. he said the car infront of him his their brakes. not true. he simply changed lanes into a lane in like a 15 ft gap n extremly heavy traffic and then he hit his front brake and locked it up. also a few cars pulled up and commented on how irresponsible he was riding. soooo... i dont feel too bad for him i guess. only protective gear he was wearin was a helemt. i have a weak stomach so i tried not to look at all the rash. i was just staying with him till someone got there. i went and moved my gfs car over more outta the road right as the ambulance and firetruck got there and the guy for whatever reason wigged out and took off. i shrugged to the emt then told him thanks anyway. kinda ruiened my day

Stolen bike, no license, outstanding warrants, no insurance, hard to say. Could be any number of reasons to not want to be there when the ambulance and all show up. None of the ones off the top of my head are good.

it was his brothers bike he said, he kept sayin hes gonna b pissed. well im sure his bro would b extra pissed if he knew he took off on the bike as it had leaked out basicly all the oil or trans fluid leaked out b4 i picked it up. but ya he rode off on the bike.

REGISTER HERE! <~~didnt see all those signs hanging all over that big black ezup directly in front of the stage? 3 old white guys (this should have been the easy part to see in that crowd) with white shirts that said ED BARGY RACING SCHOOL sitting under the canopy? Yellow race bike along with a blue race bike, #39, even had TODD stickered on the windscreen? LOL, damn, were ya'll too focused on the bikini's to see anything else? I was there at 645am and didnt leave until they gave away the CanAm.

It was Good the stunts were cool but we only saw like 10 min's and they appeared done. Overall parking was great to Motorcycles Only with a $5 Bike wash and a freindly group of people . Buying from this dealership part's deptment was intresting as not much was priced but there were plenty of people onhand to answer any question's.

Just my opinion.... Its simply a Seadoo for the street... Anyone can ride them.. You would look great on one Mufffin rollin with 26's on it! Oh and a Naked Lady painted on the front!

Just my opinion.... Its simply a Seadoo for the street... Anyone can ride them.. You would look great on one Mufffin rollin with 26's on it! Oh and a Naked Lady painted on the front!and me naked too, with a shiny Torque Wrench hanging from my "tool belt!"

It was Good the stunts were cool but we only saw like 10 min's and they appeared done. Overall parking was great to Motorcycles Only with a $5 Bike wash and a freindly group of people . Buying from this dealership part's deptment was intresting as not much was priced but there were plenty of people onhand to answer any question's.
If you're in a club you get a discount, buy a new bike you get a discount, we restock the oil shelf about every 2 days.....it's hard to put prices on everything before it is sold....
