My Tacoma has the big silver plastic facade on the radio and disc player, and as far as I can tell it's all one piece. Has anyone put in an aftermarket CD player, and if so how much of a PITA was it?

Thanks,

Tom

Yea there easy and what year Tacoma? I helped a freind install one on his 2005 Tacoma a wile back and that was a Pioneer Z1 Navigation unit that I too have on my Tundra. I would do a dual din on the Tacoma it's look's vastly better to fill in that space. I like the Navi unit's because I have a backup camera and retain xm Navi two features I was looking for a wile back. Toyota unit's are horrible I ditched my Jbl for this one and Like it better.

We used the metra kit something like this below and if you require help let me know.
