Is this stuff OK for FI bikes? I used to use i on my older cars (98 Taurus, 94 Chev Blazer, 04 Dodge Ram) but dont know how it would affect the bike. Anyone use them? Do bike Fuel Injectors get clogged like cages? Thanks.

Its better just to take them out and get them cleaned with a machine.. There is a guy down in Florida I think that has a machine.... Very in expensive...Check the jenningsgp forum.. He is on there...

Back in car days I usta use Marren Motorsports in Conn. or RC Engineering in Cali. RC is a little bigger name, but Marren is one less day on the shipping (w/o paying extra.) After they clean them, they should check the pattern and give you a print out with the flow volume. If you feel the need to tune your aftermarket ECU to compensate for slight variances in each injector's flow rates, and cylinder volume/temp/etc - that's the ticket. if you're a normal person, ignore the last sentence :D

Cool. I'll have to check out the seafoam. I have a 9 year old bike so I was wondering how often the injectors need cleaning. They seem to be working fine and its not that serious to have me pull them out and ship em to Florida. Is there no one around here that does this?

I always thought good pump gasoline already had most of the chemicals that are found in the run of the mill FI cleaners off the shelf.
