Anyone up for a NE Bike night?

Anyone up for a North East bike night? To include gwinnett, hall, jackson, barrow, clarke, walton, and surrounding counties. I liked going out to the northside bike night, but Marietta is just too far to drive to hang out. (Sorry guys)

im down... just one thing.. im not to big on the varsity thing.. off of jimmy carter.. haha.. sorry but thats highway miles and the hooters run ate my tire up bad.. maybe we can rep some independed sport bars or something like that.. if it comes down to it ill be happy to ride to varsity to hang out with some fellow riders.. but def let me know.. id love to ride..

Seems like one of you is in Commerce and the other near Jefferson... We could find a place around Buford if thats better or even around Dacula/Hamilton Mill. Suggestions?

I just don't like riding out to Marietta just to hang out. Seems like I pass 20-30 bikes a day just around Grayson and Lawrenceville, so I'm sure there's enough of us around here to put together another bike night for this side of town.

ya agree.. well i know last year they had bike night at buffalos at hamilton mill.. not sure if they still do or not.. but i go to work in atl most the time so i def dont want to ride all the way out there for a bike night..lol

Gotcha... I know the owner Paul. I think most of the bikes that showed were cruisers, not that there's anything wrong with that, but it tends to turn away sport bikes. There's a couple of places around there. Lets see what everyone else thinks first.

how about 37 main in downtown Buford on Thurs or Fri night? They have live band karaoke on thursday nights though... might work out good, who knows!

Chris, keep me up on this. Still working on getting the bikes on the road but am socializing around this. I know another spot has been Loco's in Winder in the past. Pretty good and receptive to what I've heard. There's also a Loco's in Snellville off 20 at 316. Perhaps something along those lines. I'd love to be able to come out again.

Winder may not be bad. Would give us some back roads to ride, and the food's not bad! I haven't had a response from 37 Main yet anyway, so they might not be a good option. And the Varsity got bumped off pretty quick!

Winder Loco's
Dacula Buffalo's Hamilton Mill

If anyone has any other suggestions, throw it in the hat. We could either set up for the same spot every week, or rotate between different places.. And it looks like Thursday nights, maybe 6-9?

Winder is a better option for me and my location. But I don't always make it out to these things so you probably don't want to base it on me :). But I would go to at least some if it was in Winder.

alright. Winder Loco's. Thursdays 6-9pm. I'll go by tomorrow and talk to the manager about it. Shouldn't be a problem, but we need to get on their schedule. It may not be this week, but it could be. I'll let you know when I find out.

37 main is out. I have called and emailed the manager several times with no response. It is a good place and would be great for a bike night with the exception of no patio... Loco's in winder has a patio up front and we could either line the main street or fill up the back lot. I will be going by there tomorrow to talk to the manager about it. They already have a live band and ladies night on thursdays, but they might be up for adding a little extra to it. It's not set in stone yet, and other places are still open for suggestion. I was thinking about rotating between 4 different places to make it convienent for people from different areas to come out (ie: buford, winder, snellville, suwanee?)

I still go to hooters from time to time. Their bike night is tuesdays i think.. Sonic has died down to a few cruisers, and I don't know about Diggers.

I think 37 main is a bad place to have a bike night. You have to park ok the street and you will prob have to park away from the entrance. Buffalos in Oakwood would be better for a bike specific night. Plenty of parking in view of everything while inside. Bottom of the cup is the same way....

Im down for a bike night, Wed is usually the best for me. I believe Jeffery's in Braselton has a bike night (mostly HD's) and there is a pretty cool place near there called Bottom of the Cup where you can play golf. Dacula has some new little hot spots, Winder's Loco's and now there is a new place called Doc McGee's that is in Carl (between Auburn and Winder off of 29) that has local bands on Thurs and Sats with a big parking area, no outside sitting though.

We're a 'GO' for winder Loco's next Thursday from 6pm to 9pm-ish. Talked to the manager and they said up front parking and seating on the patio is ok! I need to know who all will be there. This will be Thursday 06/17.
