This is a very clean and low mileage 2008 Vstrom 650 in a very vibrant yellow with 7700 miles. It is a clean bike that has not been dropped or crashed. The only blemish I can find is one little mark on the exhaust cover which I shown in a close up picture. This is basically a stock bike with the addition of the fender extender and a set of Metzler Tourance tires that were put on early in the bikes life to replace the stock Battle Wings. The current Tourances have about 7k miles on them. The oil was changed at 600, 1200, 4200, & 7300 miles. It has a fresh oil/filter change and is ready to go. I have plenty of pictures and a video below to show the great condition of this motorcycle.
If you aren’t familiar with the Suzuki Vstrom’s, they are very versatile bikes that fit a wide range of riding styles and make great adventure touring bikes. With a few additions, they can become the ultimate long distance touring bike or take you to your favorite mountain road and carve it up with the best of them. You can even venture off the beaten path if you desire. I've owned several vstroms (5 total) including both the DL1000 and DL650, but I do really prefer the 650 for its ultra smooth engine and awesome fuel mileage. In 2007, Suzuki added a dual spark head on the 650 models that made the engines even smoother then previous years and really helped the fuel mileage step up into some awesome levels. This bike has been one of the best bikes fuel mileage wise so far with me regularly seeing 55-60mpg and upwards of 300 miles per tank. Another addition the 2008+ 650 models got over 2007 was a bump in the stator to 400w which puts the 650 at the same stator output as the DL1000 now. You can run all your favorite lights or electric gear to keep you comfortable.
The only reason I'm selling this '08 Yellow Strom is because I just found an '09 Vstrom 650 in the burnt Orange that won me over and is now in my garage. The yellow and orange are both very unique colors that I really think look very neat on the strom and stand out nicely among the very common black, blue, red & silver vstroms you see on the road. The yellow was available on the 2003 DL1000, but has never been available on the 650 before, so its a pretty rare color to find one in and they don't appear to come up for sale all that often. 09 has been the first year ever for the 650 to get orange and I decided I had to have that color. There is no difference between this yellow 08 650 model and my 09 orange 650.
I have a clean title in hand and this bike is ready to go and ride anywhere.
I'm happy to assist with the logistics for a fly and ride into Atlanta Hartsfield Airport and have done several before myself, so I know how to make them pretty smooth.
