I was on ebay looking for a Scorpion EXO 1000 and then decided to look and see what some Arai's were going for and found Masei helmets under the Arai section. They are cheap, but are DOT approved and suppose to be the euro spec approved. Their website did not load after 30min's so I just did some research and just found that they are new and cheap.

HJC has one with a built in sun visor. About $160 IIRC.

Never heard of Masi

My HJC was only good for about one season before the padding broke down and wobbled on my head, causing severe headaches every time I rode. I have been much happier with my Scorpion, I have the EXO-1000 and love it.

plenty of helmets these days with the internal visor. if you wear glasses they are pretty handy or if you mainly commute.

HJC has a whole line of IS helmets that all have internal shields, so you can pick your price point. I'd guess the IS16 ($200) or FS10 ($250ish) would be worth a look.

Scorpion has the exo1000, it's heavy but it's snell approved. check with the local dealers, they are running some good sales on them. Nolan has an internal visor, and for some reason I was thinking I saw a Shark the other day with an internal visor.

No need for an internal sun visor with the Wiki Helmets... they come standard with photochromatic shield that change to dark smoke in the day and back to ccrystal clear at night! They are also made of carbon fiber and only weigh 3 lbs total!

I am running a special on my online store, PM me if interested as I am a dealer... The helmets retail for 330.00+ and I am offering any size any color for 199.00 for the month on June! Hit me up if you want a quality helmet for cheap!

Thanks Jector, but I was getting happy about it until I saw this on the site

The helmet has been homologated according to the European Standard requirement ECE 22.05; therefore the use of this helmet is allowed only in the countries/nations where the homologation standard ECE/ONU 22.05 is in force.

FWIW the puddin bowls you see on some biker types aren't truly DOT approved either.
