Blood mountian Fatality?

Anyone here of a TRiumph riders death at Blood this weekend?

From what I heard, it was a Triumph rider that hit the guard rail and ended up back in the road and then was ran over by a car. :(

I came upon the accident about a minute after it happened. He was headed south in a decreasing radius right hand turn, lowsided, and collided with an oncoming vehicle. It was a Sprint ST from Florida. RIP.

I came up on the accident about 5 mins. after it happened in my car. Turn around and bought the first aid kit, but the rider was not breathing any more. God bless the family for this tragic loss. My three sons all saw the down rider and told me not to ride anymore. I was really depressed for the loss of life. It could of happen to any one of us.

We lifted the car off of him with a jack, but I don't think there was anything that anyone could have done for him.

His name was Lino and he was one of our members from South Florida. Just a real super nice guy with a great family.

Crazy part is last week he survived a near fatal accident when a truck pulled out in his lane to pass another vehicle on a two lane road in Miami. He ended up splitting the two vehicles in the middle of the road without a scratch.

He'll be missed by all of us.

Good for you for coming to his aid - well done. But I'm sorry you and your family had to witness the spectacle. And RIP to the rider.

Hey guys. Name is Anthony, I'm from Florida and I knew Lino. I just wanted to register here and say thanks to those that tried to help him. He was an amazing guy and definitely lived life to the fullest. I don't know anyone that disliked him and he had the knack to make everyone smile. RIP
