Talked to my sister earlier today and found out that my grandfather, who has been my dad since I was 14 and my real dad was killed in a motorcycle accident, has lung cancer. They aren't sure how bad yet. He goes back Tuesday to get more test done.
To go along with that, he has been having some other issues that point towards prostate problems. He's going for more test on that tomorrow.

And to top it off, Dawn's (Batgirl) granny passed away this afternoon. So needless to say, it has been a pretty rough day and all the prayers and good vibes we can get would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks everybody. Spent some time with my grandpa yesterday. He is worried about what the doc is going to say, but not getting to upset until they find out exactly what they are dealing with.

Those of you keeping i-man's grandpa in your prayers, please keep going with it. He has to undergo more testing to see if it's in his bones and to figure out the course of treatment.

Yep, the test results to find out where the cancer is came back and they found that it is in most of his upper body. He goes Wednesday to find out what kind, small or large cell, and to see if it is in his bones. After that, they will figure out how to treat, if it is treatable. Please keep the prayers and good vibes coming.

Got the news last night that they found out it is also in his spine, hip bone, and his blood. From what my papa said, all they can do is try to keep the pain down. They are going to do an MRI to see if it is in his brain next, and they are supposed to start chemo on the 29th with the hopes of it going into remission, but they aren't very hopeful. They have given him 6 months to a year.
