The Lazy Destroyer

Saturday I decided to hit up a few roads around our new house that looked interesting. Rode around for quite a while but never going further than a couple miles from home.

^In the picture to the left, there is a guy sitting under a tree to the right, he must have been around 80 or 85 years old. He was working on his farm all day. I passed by him a few times and he was out there every time I rode by. His Border Collie was pretty territorial though :)

^ Something tells me this one won't be coming for a while. I drove in hoping I would have my own little racetrack all for myself :) But it was just a dead end road about a 1/8 mile deep :( Oh well

By now it was about lunch time and I was getting pretty hungry. I rode through Holly Springs looking for a mom & pop place to eat but couldn't see anything interesting. In Canton, there was a nice BBQ place but it was packed with Harleys and I figured against it. I jumped back on the interstate to head south towards Woodstock instead. I was mostly zoning out and realized after 15 miles I was actually heading north :o
So I kept going towards Ellijay for some Cajun Depot :D

From here I headed towards Morganton and figured I'd head home the long way via 60. It was pretty nice with little traffic. There was a road block in Fannin Co, checking for drivers license and insurance. From here I got on 129 via 180 and got stopped again at another roadblock near the hiker store, and then again at Turners Corner!
Didn't stop me from making a few runs up 129 but there really wasn't anyone up there and it was getting a bit lonely, so I headed home to catch up on the chores I was ignoring. So much for staying in Woodstock :o
