What are you in the mood for? To keep it local we can do a loop like we did last Thursday or we could do a "destination" ride over to Pine Mountain and get lunch. Either way I'm up for a 10:00 am start time.

Depending on what the rain does, I'm planning on riding around 6:00 this Thursday and running down to Hooters around 8:00 like we did a couple of weeks ago. Meet at the Exxon in Bolingbroke a little after 6:00, I guess this can be called our "official" meeting spot for rides.

You were at the right place and must have just missed us. We hung around to see if Bill was going to make it and we probably left right around 6:15 as well.

Here's the loop we rode yesterday, takes a little over an hour and there are some great roads tucked in there off the beaten path (Shi, Maynards Mill, Montpelier, Lee King, Taylor, Pea Ridge, Klopper, etc..)

Looks like the Hooters thing is on the way out. The food there sucks. The only thing they have going for them is...well, the name says it all. I say we start our own at Wild Wings. Seems like most people talking here are from Macon anyway. I'm good with Locos, too. Any thoughts?

Never really had a problem with the food at Hooters myself. You have to go to Atl for good "Hooters" view wise. The good thing is that its a safe place to park and not have to worry much about your stuff being stolen. Wild Wings is iffy, no good close places to park unless you can get a group of front spots which is rare. I wouldn't park a group of bike anywhere in Macon unless they are under constant watch. Loco's would work if we could get the front spots or park in a line in front of the outdoor area.

For me its not about the food, it's about people who have the same interest (motorcycles) getting together, enjoying the camaraderie. Motorcycles give us an opportunity to meet people from all walks of life, that other wise we would probably never meet.


The Hooters girls are a Big plus!

JL'S BBQ on Eisenhower pkwy is having a bike night, I think it is the 3rd Thursday of the month. Capitol Cycle and Harley-Davidson of Macon are sponsors. I know the food is real good, so might ck it out.
