Looking like Team Texas Tech 3 will hopefully have a better weekend than last time out in France. Correct me if I'm wrong and I know it might not carry over to the race but isn't this Speez first time at Mugello ? Amazing !!

Ohh noooo. Rossi done for the weekend.

Reigning title holder Valentino Rossi experienced a highside crash with 15 minutes to go and has been ruled out of Sunday’s race with a fractured right shin bone.

Maybe longer.

Great QP. Good stuff from Hayden, Stoner, Edwards, even Spies did good. And of course, Lorenzo. He could walk away in the race without Rossi there to bug him. If he gets away first at the start, that could be it.
Very bad news for Rossi. Bad time to have it happen as because the schedule gets pretty tight now. He'll miss at least 4 races. Done for the season? We'll see. A few pins. A few screws. It was a massive highside by modern standards.

Man, look at the top speed on those Duc's compared to the rest of the field. Wow.

Great ride by Spies. He's not threatening the podium yet, but he's clear of the crowd and right there with the second group. He got schooled by some people with more laps at Mugello early on but then rode smart and watched the battle for 4-6 from 7th.

Pedrosa. He may not be much fun to listen to but he sure can turn the fast laps. Something had to be wrong with Lorenzo's Yammie. His lap times were a second slower than his practice times.

the race for 4th was pretty fun to watch at the end. looked like a lot of squirrly bikes out there today.

And Moto 2 Seems to be the race of choice IMO.... Pretty Boring when Pedrobot leads Flag to Flag.... Sucks for Hayden... That killed his points...

Now is the time to watch Monkey Boy. I'll have much more respect for him if he gets back on and starts chasing podiums instantly.

Looks like he did just that. Kind of a dumb comment. How could any true motorcycle enthusiast who knew even a tiny bit about the sport not have the utmost respect for Rossi?
