Yep I took the fazer to a dealer to change out the oil and he must have used an air wrench or torque wrench on the oil plug cause my socket wrench won't budge it. Any one on here have an air compressor wrench or torque wrench I can borrow, 17mm. I don't want to strip the plug with a socket wrench, so just let me know. Thanks in advance

Sorry wrong place, please move to right area

Wow. That's a lot of torque on a drain plug. I think you should take it back to the dealer and have them remove it so that the damage is on their plate. Steel screw in aluminum hole. On the FJR, the manual says 31 ft/lbs and most owners think that's excessive and refuse to tighten them that much.

^^^^ what wally said,,,, take your receipt and bike BACK to said dealer,,, let them loosen it... that way if the threads do pull out, it is on their dime, not yours......... Smart thinking !:)

if u don't want to bother, my offer still stands.
