Figured i would break in this section with a helmet I picked up recently.
The Vega V-Tune helmet.

The fit is awkward at best, due mainly to the speakers in the earcups. The general shape of the interior is very similar to a KBC. If you're a Shoei person, don't even bother reading this- as the helmet's fit will drive you insane. Your head is very forward in the helmet. So much that your mouth will brush against the front part of the helmet at times. Weird.
The bluetooth itself works great. The range is about 15-20 feet from its source (in my case a Blackberry Curve). The music playback is noticeably quieter than the phone playback. Why? I have no idea. The phone itself works well up until about 45 mph, and then its just impossible to hear over road noise. The left side mounted buttons are easy to get used to, and have just the right feel while wearing a pair of gloves (mine being Alpinestars GP-Plus).
The only reason I bought this was because a buddy at work was giving it away for $100. Hell, i figured why not give it a try. You wanna talk about a strange sensation- try scooting down the road talking on the phone. Since i am an avid sportbike guy, I have never experienced any kind of sound on a bike- aside from the bike itself.
All in all, the helmet sucks for highway. But, if you are stuck in traffic and wanna shoot the shit with your significant other, its perfect. Not to mention streaming radio stations via the blackberry
