Hey everyone,
im using a linksys wireless adapter WUSB11, windows 2000, with a 2wire modem/router. The Linksys can find the router correctly but not the internet. I have iprenewed and released all that good stuff, i have done a hard reset of everyting. All other computers that are hooked up to the internet wirelessly, are working correctly. The device has worked before and the only change is that there is a password now, which i think is preventing the internet from working on the Linksys device. My roomate has one too and he couldnt connect after a password was set. Any suggestions? I have everything set to auto configure but the default gateway doesnt show when looking in the cmd with ipconfig/all. Yes i am entering the correct password with the correct 64 bit encryption. Router has B and G capabilities no probs there. Any help would be awesome.
