Just wondering how many of you have aftermarket seats for comfort and what kind of seats you have. I drove 100 miles on my bike in one setting, and it was hands down the worst experience I have had. on top of the blinding rain my ass was killing me as well. anyone have any tips for me for longer journeys?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news...but Honda makes the worst seats known to man. Like sitting on a 2x4. May i recommend Corbin or Troy's link.

You're like me. I clock about 90 miles a day on my bike. By the end of the week I'm starting to shift the weight on my rearend but its not that bad.

I didnt know the seats were any different looks close to the same. Personally Honda seats are not like yamaha and dont retain a gel based seat.

I've ridden on the 1000rr and didn't like them too but Overall like most agree Honda doesnt provide a good seat on there Sport bike application. Now yamaha on the other hand is a very well made Bike and the r1 I rode a few weeks back is a Good seat design.

Sargent seat works for me. Even after a 5-600 mile day (120 of them slab) I don't feel the need to "adjust" anything except my gonads.

What you are wearing makes a huge difference also. Its mostly where the seams are, where they bunch, and how you sit. I cant do jeans... but I have a couple pair of thick khaki cargo pants that work well. My textile riding pants work the best though. Underwear is a consideration too, I tried the Underarmour knee-length shorts and that has worked really well.
