I'll be out just after sunrise somewhere on the east side of 180 or RR or 75. If you see a bloke on a black Triumph, wave. :)

Where is your sense of adventure? Sun rises at 0600, imagine being on the raceway(Richard Russell) when it comes up.;)

On a Sunday that is early for me, my sense of adventure is still in the bed at 8 or 9.

I'll most likely be there in the morning. Got a trip planned to deals gap but it looks like the guy I am supposed to be riding with is backing out so if he does I'll stay local. I'll find out in the morning. Early is good for me.

I'm already back and it was beautiful. Of course, that's why I live here! Watch the weather today guys; storms have been blowing up fast.
Call me an old puss but its too hot to put all the gear on and wrestle a sumo around for me.

Why is it either too hot or too cold... when is it that everyone rides?

For me I prefer the cold, I would have gone early this morning but my sorry ass got attached to the bed and I got up a little late. I would go now but it will have to a moderate pace for I am still a little sore from my kwaker ride at Whissy on Friday.

Fun ride for the FJR's first run up there. Sorry I missed you Nevel, I didn't get to Turner's Corner til 10:40. Things started getting a little crazy around 12:30-1:00 so I took off then. Forgot why I love to go up there early.

Thats cool. Hope your day was better than mine. It was going good til some old lady hit me on 75. Never saw her coming. She did get out to check the damage to her car then got back in and took off. Left me with my bike on its side in the middle of the intersection. I was SOOO pissed. My bike is only 3 weeks old:NONO: The temporary tag isn't even expired yet!

Are you okay? Good grief what is wrong with people? Did you get her plate number? I certainly hope so, you can get her for hit and run.

I made it up there but left a late around 11 or so. went to riders hill and had lunch. Saw quite a few bikes today, it seems I was heading up and the fast guys were coming down. and vice versa. I need to find my groove again and put about 225 miles today to get it all figured out. I was on a blue bmw in all black leather.

I saw a few beemers up there, not sure if one of them was you or not. I was on a dark gray FJR with a blue white leather jacket and black leather pants.

Unfortunately I did not get a plate number. When she hit me I went down and she slowed for a minute, rolled past the intersection and then pulled over. She stopped and got out. At this point I'm thinking that I will go and have a chat with her but my first priority was getting my bike out the middle of the road. It was literally lying on top of the double yellows. Once I picked it up (moto gp style) and moved it on the side of the road, I looked up in time to see her get back in the car after checking out to see if there was any damage to her car and driving off. Of course my bike wouldn't start, I'm guessing from all the gas that poured out while it was on the ground. Frame slider took most of the damage and a few chips of the tail section. Once I sat back on my bike I also noticed that my handle bars was tweaked a bit. Nothing too major. After I got it home I was able to fix it. I'm just glad it wasn't any worse that it was.
