View Full Version : Changing grips. Suggestions?

I want something that won't rub off on my hands/gloves in the heat. The stock grips are literally rubbing away. My hands/gloves are black from a ride!
I'm also thinking of going with something with a bigger diameter than the stock grips.

Oh, 2008 CBR600rr Graffiti minus ALL stickers...

Suggestions please!

I have the Gel pro's on my cbr the stock Oem Honda ones sucked and I like these a hell of a lot better.

Pro grips are good, or spider grips, and if you want to spend some money look at the Rizoma grips.

Also if your grips are rubbing off on your gloves your probally griping the clip ons way too tight...

That was happening to me when I first started riding, was gripping them really hard, now that I've relaxed it's much better.

Also, just a heads up. Sometimes when changing OEM grips on OEM bars, they are stuck on there something awful. So you may have to prepare for a battle of patience getting your OEM ones off.

Cut the old ones off with a Razor Blade and pop the new ones on with only a air hose.. No Lube.... Works great...

If you have an Air Compressor you stick the needle in your grips and it's a easy to remove them.
