hey kopaka do you know the person who was wrecked on 129, the stretch between turners corner and the hikers cabin? someones bike went off the side of the mountain, but apparently they didnt go with it. saw two GSP and a wrecker truck with a zx10 or an r1 i believe. no rider though.

It was me that wrecked. The bike...went off the side of the mountain - head over heals...I'm fine, I was lucky that I didn't go over as well - few scratches....I'm not sure what to do now ... I'm guessing I'll have to sell it as parts.

seriously tho, glad you are ok. the way your bike looked, i though for sure someone was hurt pretty bad, especially after i didnt see the rider.

I came into a left corner a bit hard. I felt it slip so I pushed down harder to the left but didn't give it more gas...the next thing I knew I was sliding on the road trying to break but the bike was just sliding along. I slipped off and stopped myself. I saw the bike drop of the embankment and it was a really steep drop. It flipped from front to back 100 yards down the mountain side. It took the tow truck forever to get it out...I myself am thankful that I didn't stay with it. If I dropped down with the bike..I don't think I would be talking right now. let alone, no one would have even know I went over the edge. I'm totally fine...once again...Full Gear is the only way to ride.

Damn, not good...Glad you made it out alright, could have been a lot worse, like you said. Could have been down there with the bike. That's my fear up in the mountains, also why I never ride alone up there.
