I figured I would start a new thread since the Hooters thread had gotten so long and some people aren't keen on hooters. Lets start a weekly Thursday night ride starting at the Exxon in Bolingbroke at 6:30. We can then decide if anyone wants to go grab dinner following the ride.

Is anyone planning to ride tonight?

Sounds good, I'll plan on being there at 6:30 regardless because I haven't been able to ride since last Thursday and need to get out on the bike. Hope you guys can make it.

Good riding with you again also. Sundays vary, no real plans this week. I may ride up and meet a buddy in Peachtree City for lunch.

I'm not going to make it this Thursday, I have tickets to the Pinetoppers game for thirsty Thursday so I'll be watching baseball and drinking alot of beer! I'll be riding up to Road Atlanta Saturday to take pictures of a buddy doing the track day there if anybody wants to tag along. I'll probably head out pretty early (8:00 am) and be back around 4 or 5 that afternoon.

I'm up in the air right now, I'm planning on a trip to NC and might need to get the trailer setup for the bikes. If my trip falls through I'll be up for a ride. I'll post up late tonight or in the morning with an answer for you.

Got the flat tire replaced (found a nail in it) but I have work obligations this afternoon and will not be able to ride. Hopefully next Thursday I'll be back on schedule!

I think we can all agree that riding sux in this weather. It's still 90 degrees at 6:30. Anyone up for meeting around 8 or 8:30 at Wild Wings or Locos in Macon Thursday? Or anywhere else?

I'm going to the last Thursday night Pinetoppers game of the summer. I'll be up for riding again next Thursday. I have an extra ticket if anyone wants to come to the game. 2 for 1 beers!!

I'm good with 30 or 45 minutes say around 7 or 730. Exxon in Bolingbroke? It's hot as hell even that late so nobody has really felt like riding. I'm up for it if you are. Mack and I have been hitting Wild Wings or Locos afterwards.

Thanks to everyone that helped out Thursday, you guys were great! I'm back home now and just need a little time to heal up. GenJak if you ended up getting the incident on video please send it my way, I'd love to see it!

Yeah, I remember hearing someone say there was quite a crowd of people there. Were they all emergency responders or passers by? I love the first words out of the deputy sheriff asking how fast I was going.

Hey Cal glad to hear it wasn't as bad as I thought and you made it home. I thought the same thing about the cop. What a jackass. How about are you OK? Does your neck hurt? I thought he was about to try to write you a ticket. He questioned whether there even was a deer until Kelley said he had it on video. To serve and protect right? By the way, I have a blinker in my truck that I need to get to you. I'll drop in in your mailbox when I get over that way.

Hey Cal, glad to hear you are ok and it was not as bad as we all thought. It just goes to show why we ride with protective gear no matter how hot it is. I shared your deer slayer story with my riding club saturday at our meeting and why it is important to have your protective gear on while riding. I would like to make a video of the ride if you do not mind and share it with my riding club and post it on here as well. It will have to be on my youtube account. If you do not want me to do that, I will not. Just let me know. I enjoyed riding with you.

Mike it was a great evening to ride and I enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next one.

The bike can be fixed, it was mostly cosmetic damage. I figured up about $5500 in damages not counting labor so they may want to total it. If they do I'll just buy it back and fix it myself.
