Anybody know anything, good or bad, about it? Looking to get a new phone and staying with AT&T. Obviously, looking at the iphone 4 and the leftover iphone 3gs. I like the Android software, so this HTC phone has caught my interest.

It looks like a pretty cool phone, but it is just a middle of the line droid and pretty small screen compared to most. There's a good review of it here - http://www.mobiletechreview.com/ATT-phone-reviews.htm

You might wait just a bit as AT&T, Tmobile, Sprint & Verizon are all getting a very high end droid phone called the Galaxy S

Tmobile is calling it the Vibrant and Sprint is getting the Pro version. Verizon will be the last one to get it with late this year. Anyway, it looks pretty impressive with its 1ghz processor, AMELOID screen, and wifi N. And with all 4 carriers getting it, you can bet the Android software will get lots of updates for awhile too.

well, the article I linked was from April and it said release in June. I would expect any time now.
This article is dated June 17th and says coming months. Not sure how long that could be. Obviously they don't want to say until it is ready for sure. http://www.mobiletechreview.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=37478
I would say it would be worth it to wait. That's the first upscale Droid AT&T is getting.

I just picked up a cheap/used Google G1 with droid and I gotta say I like it. I'm hoping I can get one of the fancier ones soon, but this is holding me over for now.

June 20th. That’s when AT&T gets the HTC Aria — a phone which, at least in my mind, is AT&T’s first to be powered by Android.


There is a few new phones coming out for July from Att I would wait. I just ordered the Iphone4 and Mine comes in a few weeks (July 15).

My Aria should arive tuesday. Whenever I finally get around to buying something like this, they come out with something better.:(
So you might want to wait a bit longer
