Busa seat... GEL or Tobin?

Any 'busa riders out there... who've put a gel seat or Tobin seat on their bike?
What are your likes/dislikes about 'em?
I saw on the 'busa forum that several folks suggest the Tobin over the gel.

I have a gel seat on an '08. Its pretty comfy. No complaints. If nothing else its better than the stock seat.

Thanx guyz. I ordered a Tobin (now known as "New Image Upholstery") & it should arrive today. I'm testing it out on a few long rides this weekend. Will let yall know how it works out. Hopefully it'll be better than the stock seat.

The New Image seat was a definite comfy ride for my rear this weekend. Did about 700 miles total (over a couple days) and it was MUCH better than the stock seat. The seat didn't get hot like most gel seats (so I've heard). Paid $180 for the extra embroidery/logos and shipping. They have several fabric/color choices to fit your model bike. Quick and great quality !

Yeah, that wasn't fun :( No Thank you! I kept checking the seat to make sure it wasn't getting hot by being in the sun & it was fine. Felt fine & didn't get too hot when I was on it either. Overall, I'm very pleased with it. I'd recommend it to others.

I hated the Gel seat that came with one of my stroms and opted to let it go wit the bike and keep the stock seat.

You can personalize the embroidery on it too... I just did 2 kanji's and "Hayabusa" on the back part.
