View Full Version : Private Ran Track Day at Jennings March 19
I have reserved Jennings on Friday March 19. Right now I have it reserved for 15 riders, I can add more if necessary.
The format will be 2 groups running 30 minute sessions. The group assignment is flexible depending on rider turnout. The plan is to have an advanced/intermediate group and intermediate/beginner group. With the low number of riders there should be no issues with passing rules. If you want extra track time, you can always ride in both groups, but you have to follow the rules of the current group on track.
This will be a great chance to get a lot of track time and a great opportunity to work on setting up suspension. The cost is $175. If we get more than 15 riders the cost will be lower.
Send me an email at shane_tow@bellsouth.net if you want to attend this event.
Thanks,
Shane
We only have 3 spots left. The plan right now is to run open track with a 30-minute mandatory pit-in. You can go right back out, but you have to run down pit road and wait for the track marshal to wave you back out. Most of the group are beginners with a couple of intermediate and advanced riders.
This will be a great event with more track time than you can normally get in 2 track days.

I might be able to get you a ride down. Did you send me a pm before the board crashed/upgraded? I was trying to get someone in touch with David Hope. He has space in his trailer for another bike. Send me a pm if a ride down will help you out.

haha.. i guess u can call me a squid.. i am very warm natured so i dont really like to wear gear.. i got leathers and all just dont have leather pants and boots.. but i defenatly do want to buy me some gear.. is there any recomendations on leathers..(full or 2-peice) brands that fit real nice and snug? etc.. if i get me some leathers i plan on spending about 800 or so..and boots i just hate the feeling of some of the older style boots they got.. but i cant remember if it is puma or dainese that makes the flex racing boots.. ime going to get some of them.. and i should be good.. i got some friends that want to take me out .. is there any recommondations for new riders on what track to go to?.. ime not new to bikes i got well over 17000 miles on my bike now and i had over 18000 on my last bike i had before it got stolen.. i ride rain/sleet/snow..

AS far as Leathers, either one or two piece, its just what ever fits you the best, all brands fit different. for example; I love Dianese, but they don't fit me very well. Boots are the the same way, I like the new Sidi, TCX and Dianese titanium stuff, but their cheaper stuff isn't that great IMO. As far as tracks go, Road Atlanta is really fun. its got some technical parts but if you're there with Sportbiketrack tim as a Novice they'll take good care of you! And its a big track, so you feel like you have lots of space to call your own!!
