Cherohala-Dragon on Wednesday 7-7

Heading out on the VFR from Canton at about 0730 before the heat. Planning on taking the scenic route (meaning nothing in concrete) up to the Cherohala and up the Crossroads at 129 for lunch. Coming back the route will depend on time and fatigue factor, but I'm not in a hurry.

Prefer experienced riders (not to mistaken for FAST) if anyone wants to join. I will be riding "The Pace" and not planning on dragging knees (or another other "hard" parts).

Dang it I am planning to do the same route only on Thursday the 8th. My new favorite route is 60 to Morgantown,through Ducktown
and 129 to the Skyway. Seems like the cops are more on 129/180 in recent weeks. Hope you have a great ride.

All the times I have been through Morgantown have never even run across a cop, hell for that matter 60 either. I think I will play the lottery if I make it through the next 2 months because I will be up there A LOT lol. Wish me luck guys !

Just got back....12 hours and 475 miles! Post some pics in a bit. Also had a run in with some LEO's in Lumpkin......I passed an unmarked Tahoe pulling a trailer with a 4-wheeler on it......in the curvers/double yellow before Sher. McClures place coming South. Got let off with a warning, couldn't been jail as it was reckless since it was in a curve (so he said).
