Ok, I have 2 electrical issues going on!
1. In the house...I have my race trailer plugged in to an outlet in the garage. The heaters and lights in the trailer cause the breaker to trip. Guessing that whoever wired it up put too much on that circuit. So far i can say that the garage outlets, kitchen light, breakfast area light, over-stove microwave, basement utility room, and kitchen outlets are on a 15A breaker. Suggestions or recommendations for easing the load and balancing this problem? I'm thinking that it's wired up, just not wired up right....
2. The race trailer has fluorescent lights and outlets in it. They all come together and are powered by a 3 pronged, extension cord like cord. I want to install an a/c-heating unit while also running the lights and outlets through a proper breaker box in the trailer. Then I can have the breaker box run to the rv plug on the generator instead of through an extension cord that trips the generator's breaker when you got the heaters and lights running.
Clear as mud? Two separate issues but the trailer issue obviously is overloading the house issue and just creating a pain in my a$$.
Anyone know of a good rv place to install the ac-heating unit?
And while I'm asking....who knows about setting up a system of batteries that recharge off the generator's output and run things durring the night so the generator can be shut down?
