I have a track only bike and I change oil in it after every 2-3 track days (not weekends). Do I need to replace oil filter every oil change or I can do it every other change?

change filter - hell its better to change the filter and leave the old oil atleast it can go through a clean filter - you will never break the oil down in that short of time - just dirty it up... having clean oil pass throuigh dirty filter - not good. change both for safe side - my cars i ussally do a filter every 7K miles and change oild 15K.
considering i pay less than $20 for a gallon of oil for my racebike (Shell Rotella full synth), i change my filter out every oil change. Total cost oil/filter, less than $30.
That being said, Grant is right. Youre better off changing the filter every other track weekend, then change the oil on the second filter change.
What they said. BTW - Shell Rotella T FTW!!!

Don't buy the gallon jug from tractor supply. In Athens they wanted 26 for it.
