Here is a little of their story. Take a minute to listen to Ms. Laura Moore:

I have been looking on all forums if there are events that all the family can attend and all be happy too (god that would be heaven) and now you have done it. Although im not the best on a bike like this im sure we would all enjoy it. Thanks for the info.

The event is a good month away yet so i cannot say until i speak to the other half and kids but i wouldn't mind giving out wrist bands for a while do my bit then go and have some fun. Im sure the kids will have something say about it, that reminds me i've not even told them about the event yet :)

Five people showed up for the volunteer trail work day yesterday, 3/13.
Thanks to Jerry, Bob, Artie, and Ben.

It was wet after the rain Friday. We managed to ribbon most of the trail and cut slappers from part of it. Probably need one or two more work days before it is ready for arrows (2000 of them!). I enjoyed spending the day in the woods, rode my dirt bike a little, got to work with my friends. It was a long day, left home at 7 and returned at 9. I was tired. I walked about 5 miles in the woods, and I'm not accustomed to that, so I'm sore today. Probably good for me. Wish we had more help.

Well, here it is. It's going to be fun.

We will have approximately 1 mile of big grass track, 1/2 mile separate peewee grass track, a separate peewee woods trail near the parking lot, and 10.5 miles of main woods trails.

You can make whatever loops you want out of the woods trail. A 3 mile double track ATV loop, a 7.5 mile double and single track loop, or the full 10.5 mile loop plus the mile of grass track.

Also, if you're staying in the area Saturday night, come watch the AHRMA folks stir up the dirt at the flat track.
