Well, some of you have asked about it, now is your chance. Sat./Sun at Little Tally is a Bargy weekend.
Sat. July 31 is the Advanced Riding Technique School. Just like a normal Bargy racing school, there will be an open trackday to coincide with the school. While the students are in the classroom, the typical 3 group lineup will be on the track.
Bridgestone tire support will be there for all your tire needs too.
Some of you have asked about the difference between the race school and the Riding Technique School. Quite simply, not much. The racing stuff is left out, but that is a very tiny portion of the class anyhow. Here is the description from Ed's website:
The main difference between the “Racing School” and “Advanced Techniques School” is the amount time spent on riding technique lectures. The main base curriculum is the same in both types of schools. The “Racing School” will cover all the material required by the race sanctioning plus a written test and a mock race at the end of the day.The “Advanced Techniques School”, without the racing material or written test, has more time to devote to riding techniques. This will allow a more in depth discussion and more topics then the racing school. Both schools receive Ed’s book “Introduction to Motorcycle Roadracing”.Cost is the same, $375 for the one day school, and as many here can vouch, is WELL worth the money.
Cost for just the trackday, each day is $120/day, or $220 Sat/Sun.
You can go to Ed's website and pre-register: www.edbargyracingschool.com (http://www.edbargyracingschool.com)
