I need to speak with someone about helping with development on an iPad app that would be along the line of a CAD app. I've been finishing the concept, but need someone that knows the programming angle. I just don't have time to learn it fast enough. Reading various reviews online with both iTunes and several architectural magazines, think this could be a pretty good selling app if it got approved.

If there is anyone out there with some contact points for me, please let me know. I know there are places you can talk to that will develop your concept and then you get a portion of proceeds but I'm trying to reserve that route for last.

Talk to SpeedGeek, I know he knows Mac programming and dabbled in iPhone programming.

Heh, tried that one on Meghan's advice. Mike said he's still working on learning and the graphical interface level I would need would be beyond his abilities at the moment.

To Mike's credit, got several recommendations to speak with him. :D

John, I know several developers who have the skill set to create just about any application you'd need, but I'll warn you, they're NOT cheap. Can you send me some general design parameters and requirements? I'll shop it around with them and see who'd be interested, and has the available cycles.

Definitely will, Mike. I know it's a shot in the dark. I was trying to go through the company that does my architectural software and they have been waffling. I may make one more run on them but it isn't looking good on their front.

Shoot me your regular e-mail again and I'll shoot you the specs on what I was thinking.

That would be cool. If nothing else, talking with someone that has experience as to what I'm thinking about is doable or even remotely possibly profitable would be great. Thanks so much.
