How anyone can honestly say they support him and his actions is beyond me. Beyond going back on nearly every piece of campaign promise and his spending, what does he have to do for his supporters to become disenchanted? Strangle kittens?

I can remember saying almost the exact same thing about Bush. I think I said he'd have to be caught on camera killing Billy Graham.

My advice is to just gut it out. It eventually ends.

Yeah, but the shitty programs that spend (esp. if healthcare gets put in place) TRILLIONS of our non-existant money, stay in place.

I was no fan of Bush by the end, but the irony is that Obama is not only keeping most of the negative Bush policies, such as the Patriot Act, in place, he is adding to them. That is part of the problem when your elected officials stop listening to you.... They do whatever they want, and they are gone in a few years, but their damage....or "legacy", remains. Lyndon Johnson's "Great Society" programs are still creating social unrest and inequity over 40 years later.

only 44% of Americans want this national healthcare, but they are going to push it through anyhow? 75% of voters are somewhat angry at current government policy, and they want to add 40 something MORE federal beauracracies? How is that government for the people and by the people..... It seems to be governement, regardless of the people.
