In GREAT shape. 2nd owner with low miles. New M3 Sportecs and fresh oil change ~400 miles ago. Powdercoated stock wheels and a Leo Vince full pipe with Ti/CF can.

$6300 OBO and willing to consider reasonable offers. Do not ride any more. Thanks for your interest.

The rims look really good with the bike. I usually don't like white rims but those for some reason look good. I thinks it because the bike is mostly a darker color. Who knows but anyways good luck with the sale.

Man I want that in my garage. To bad it will be gone by the time I am ready. Here is a bump.

You keep saying that but its still here!! LMAO

The rims do look good IMO. Suzuki has put white wheels on lot of the GSXRs and I guess they realized the error of their ways because the current GSXRs are offered with white wheels in certain body colors.

I would love to sell this thing !!!

I am sorry to see you are getting out of bikes. Is it just street bikes or all bikes? Here is a bump for a good looking bike.

Just the street. I still have 2 dirt bikes and plan to ride them for many years to come.

I'd talk so much crap right now but I'm very appreciative of you at the moment for letting me bum your chock to obtain a new toy!!! P.S. Please buy this damn thing so I can ride it. LOL. Frank, I'd be all over this if I were still riding sport bikes. To anyone out there, this guy is very anal about his bikes so you would have NO problems with it, great buy.

I will throw in a Large Suomy Spec 1 R James Toseland replica helmet with both a clear and light tint shield if someone will buy this in the next week. Not hurting for $$ just want to get rid of it and hope this will sweeten the deal for someone. Tax refunds should be back for some by now!!

The only P car I would want I cannot justify the expense. I had one of these about 4 years ago and really missed it. They are cheap, reliable, fast as crap, easy to get parts for and out handle almost every other car available at any price. Plus my wife likes it and people wont think I have too much money so its a win win:up:

Agreed. Hard not to go the Z06 route. It's affordable fun. If you need me to show you how to drive it just give me a shout. :)

Frank, any idea if anyone is still manufacturing that fixed headlight kit for the Vettes? One of these days I'd like to pick up a C5, especially since prices are coming down, and those are the exact headlights I've been looking at but lost any good sources of purchase.

And the Z06 is about the best bang for the buck on the market now. Awesome cars and about bulletproof. Definitely couldn't go wrong there.

KTM Rider
03-08-2010, 02:22 PM
I have no idea. I think those were the C5R endurance headlights. Some guy on the corvette forum is manufacturing similar kits but it looks too "garage made" for my tastes. I had a silver '02 Z06 about 4 years ago and have regretted selling it for a while. I thought about either a GT2 or GT3 but just couldnt justify the expense considering a recent family surprise and the performance for the $$. Sure the C5 Z06 looks a bit dated in certain respects but absolutely awesome in others. I can tell you that IMO the cars look a lot better in person than in pictures especially when you are standing next to one and the roof is just above your waist line.

BTW....I think there is a Suzuki somewhere in here that I have for sale. I just remembered that I will have to pay tax on it in mid april to renew the tag so I am motivated to sell it by then. The helmet will go with it and I will also include the stock exhaust in case you need an anchor for your boat or an odd piece of art to hang on the wall for a conversation piece......

Yeah even if I was prepared to spend some or all of that $$ I am not so sure I would pursue that. The car already has more power than the tires can handle anyway and at 3.9 0-60 and running 12.1 @120 stock its fast enough.
